The non-partisan John C. Culver Public Policy Center at Simpson College is hosting a discussion tonight titled: Voz Latinx: Power in Politics. The event will feature a panel discussion with dinner which includes talks with Latino elected officials and activists Maria Alonzo, Vice Chair of the Des Moines School Board, Rob Barron, founder of the Latino Political Network, and Adam Zabner, House District 90 Representative. The event is co-sponsored by Simpson College Latinos Unidos and the Culver Public Policy Center, and takes place tonight from 5:30 to 7:30pm. Find more information below.
