The City of Newton has announced the Utility Billing Office at City Hall is going to be closed this Thursday and Friday, October 17 and October 18. The closure is due to all day training. The City says payments can still be made online at www.newtongov.org//onlineutilitypayment. Non-cash payments can also be made by placing the payment in the outside drop box at City Hall, or at the Newton Hy-Vee customer service counter.
