The PCM girls cross country team won the Heart of Iowa Conference meet hosted by Nevada on Monday and the boys team finished second.

The Mustang girls won the meet with 56 team points and they competed alongside six other teams. The top finishers for the PCM girls were Lila Milani who finished seventh with a time of 21:01.05 and Darby DeRaad who finished tenth with a time of 21:25.8. The boys finished with 76 team points competing alongside eight other teams. The boys had three top ten finishers with Kash Fischer finishing third with a time of 17:30.9, Coby DeRaad finishing seventh with a time of 17:50.6, and Owen Osterhaus finishing eighth with a time of 17:53.3. The Mustangs will next compete next Thursday at their state qualifier meet.
