The Pleasantville volleyball team went 1-1 on the first night of the West Central Conference Tournament hosted by Des Moines Christian Monday. 

The Trojans started the night defeating Madrid 2-0 (25-8, 25-13) and later fell to ACGC  2-0 (25-19, 25-22). After the two matches, Pleasantville moves to 21-11 overall and will compete tonight in day two of the tournament. The Trojans will see ACGC again in the opening round of postseason play next Wednesday.
