The Central women’s volleyball team swept rival Simpson at home on Wednesday 3-0. The Dutch would win the first set in a back and forth matchup 25-23, then the second set in similar fashion 26-24, before pulling ahead and staying ahead in the third set 25-17. The Storm were led by 9 kills from Jada Schmidt, while Central had 8 kills each from Paige Sexton and Kaitlyn Mumm, while Colleen Kenney had 16 digs. Central improves to 16-6 overall, while Simpson falls to 6-12.
