The Class 2A #8 Pella Christian volleyball team will wrap up the regular season on Saturday, competing in the Knoxville Invitational.

In pool play, the Eagles will play three matches on the north court against Albia, Union, and Class 1A #2 Holy Trinity. Pella Christian opens the tournament against a Lady Dees team that holds a 19-8 overall record and a 5-2 mark in the South Central Conference. The Eagles then face the Union Knights, who are 31-11 overall and 4-0 in the North Iowa Cedar League. Pella Christian will finish pool play against the ranked Crusaders of Holy Trinity, who are 23-8 overall and 7-0 in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference. Pool play matches on the south court will feature the host Panthers, Class 3A #13 Roland-Story, Class 4A #14 Ballard, and North Mahaska. 

Pella Christian’s first match against Albia on Saturday is slated to kick-off pool play at 8:30 am. The Eagles second and third matches of pool play are scheduled to begin around 10:20 am and 11:50 am, with bracket play set to follow at approximately 1:30 pm.
