The 2024 high school marching band competition season wraps up on Saturday. The Iowa High School Music Association contests will be held at Pella Christian High School and Waukee for area schools.

In Pella, PCM (9 a.m.), the Marching Dutch (10:15 a.m.), Knoxville (10:45 a.m.), and Newton (1:30 p.m.) are scheduled to perform. Pella is seeking their 50th consecutive Division I rating. The Marching Dutch will wrap up competition in the evening at the Mid-Iowa Band Championship in Ankeny with a 6:30 p.m. performance.

In Waukee, Indianola (2:15 p.m.) and Norwalk (3 p.m.) will participate. The two schools will then perform back-to-back at 8:30 and 8:45 p.m. at the Waukee Marching Invitational that evening.
