Congresswomen Marianette Miller-Meeks held a campaign event in Indianola Friday evening that welcomed Speaker of the House Mike Johnson. The Get Out The Vote event, held in partnership with the GOP of Warren County, included speeches from Congresswoman Miller-Meeks and Speaker Johnson discussing the importance of keeping the Republican Party majority in the US House of Representatives, in addition to the importance of voting in this election.

Republican Miller-Meeks is running against Democrat Christina Bohannan in Iowa’s 1st Congressional District. Speaker Johnson participated in campaign events in Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District for Republican Zach Nunn, who is running for re-election against Democrat Lanon Baccam.
