The Simpson men’s swimming team took a fourth place finish, along with a new record in the 800 freestyle relay in their season opener over the weekend.
The team had a great finish in the 400 yard medley relay with the team of Tyce Dolphin, Chance Penrod, Jay Ceperley, and Tristan Blair taking third place in the race. The biggest race of the day for the men was their 800 freestyle relay.

The 800 yard freestyle relay was composed of Tristan Blair, Jay Ceperley, Parker Ehrreich, and Carter Pichler. Their 7:44.79 finish was a new record for the event, and the team finished at third place in the event at today’s meet.
