At the event, both Reynolds and Miller-Meeks discussed the importance of the manufacturing industry in Iowa and throughout the nation. The event highlighted the manufacturing industry in Marion County and that manufacturing jobs are crucial for infrastructure and vital to Iowa’s economy. Reynolds and Miller-Meeks gave speeches surrounded by hundreds of Weiler employees and Reynolds said that she wants to continue to create an environment in Iowa where manufacturing can continue to grow.

“I just want to say that we appreciate what you do, and please know that every single day we are doing everything we can to make sure we are creating an environment where you can continue to grow and be prosperous, and we can continue to tell the amazing story of the impact that we’re having not only on people around the country, but around the world. We’re going to continue to drive that type of innovation. Thank you again for what you do. We’re only as good as the team we have. You’re the ones who are driving the incredible story that we have the opportunity to talk about every single day, so thank you for being a part of it.”
