After kicking off a national tour in Marion County this past summer, the Association of Equipment Manufacturers returned to the area as it winds down Tuesday morning with stops in Marion County.

Governor Kim Reynolds and Representative Mariannette Miller Meeks made visits at both locations, and opened the morning with remarks in Vermeer Plant 7 along with Vermeer CEO and President Jason Andringa. The governor and Andringa both emphasized their working relationship that has spanned back to when Reynolds became the Lt. Governor in 2011. The AEM Express started their 22-state tour in early July with two stops in Marion County. Hear more from the event on today’s Let’s Talk Pella.

The AEM Express itself made its way to Ring-O-Matic later in the day — it had visited the manufacturer in July as well (read more here).
