The annual Indianola Public Library Trunk or Treat event hosted by the Indianola Public Library is next week, with city departments welcoming kids and families as they offer decorations and treats, and a dinner of hot dogs. Janis Comer with the library tells KNIA News the library is thrilled to have kids and families back at the library, it is one of their most treasured nights of the year as they see kids make a stop at the library before continuing their trick-or-treat adventure.
Comer also said kids and families can vote on who will win the coveted “Silver Pumpkin Award” between the various city departments decorating their equipment. The Trunk or Treat will be October 30th in the library parking lot from 5:30 to 6:30pm.
