The Pleasantville volleyball team will travel to ACGC tonight for the opening round of Class 2A Region 8 play.

The Trojans ended the regular season with a fifth place finish at the West Central Conference tournament and a 23-11 overall record. The Chargers finished the regular season with a 20-10 regular season record and are a familiar conference foe for Pleasantville. The Trojans and Chargers played each other twice during the regular season with ACGC winning both matches. Pleasantville has been led in offense this season by senior Faith Nelson who has 199 kills and they have been led in defense by senior Emily Roe who has 321 digs and senior Londan Foley who has 260. Roe has also led the team at the service line this year as she carries a 95.6% serve efficiency percentage and she has 41 aces. Hope DeMan has been crucial at the net for Pleasantville as she has 58 blocks. 

Tonight’s match in Guthrie Center will start at 7:00 pm.
