The #5 in 4A Pella volleyball team is hoping tonight marks the beginning of a road to Coralville after a first round bye as the Dutch welcome Burlington in the regional semifinals.

The Dutch (37-7 overall, 2nd place in the Little Hawkeye Conference) have their eyes on making their first state appearance since 2018, which requires two wins at their home floor. Burlington (31-11, 9-1 in the Southeast Conference) held off a late charge from Keokuk in an otherwise dominant showing Tuesday (25-20, 25-12, 26-24).

Annalise Buxton leads the way with 273 kills in 42 matches, and setter Sela Rascon has 697 assists this fall. Sydney Schroeder has talled 61 aces.

Postseason action begins at Pella High School at 7:00 this evening.
