The Knoxville Football Squad will wrap up the 2024 season with plenty to play for. While the Panthers are out of the class 3A playoff picture they have a chance to finish with a winning record for the first time since the 2019 season and with a win would pull an upset and likely knock Harlan out of the playoffs. The Panthers know they have a tough assignment tonight against the Cyclones but Coach Matt Dunkin knows his team is confident after regaining something back from last week’s win over Perry.

Dunkin: “Just getting some confidence back and that mindset that we can do some things, and it sets us up well going into a tough opponent in Harlan.”

In that game, the Panthers ran for 168 yards, more than any game in the last two seasons and held the Blue Jays to just 11 yards on the ground last week. Harlan comes in very balanced, and has athletes all over the field.
