The Knoxville Volleyball Squad was defeated by Carlisle in the class four-A regional semifinal on Thursday three sets to none 25-13, 25-16, and 25-17. The Panthers fell time and again to the Carlisle front line who took advantage of several hitting errors from Knoxville. Coach Mollie Keitges told KNIA/KRLS Sports Carlisle kept her team out of rhythm all night.
Keitges: “We gave them too many free balls and they could use those. Our block is pretty small compared to six foot and six one on the outside, and we just had a tough time getting into rhythm.”
Hannah Dunkin led the way for Knoxville with six kills on the night. Knoxville will lose three seniors as the Panthers finish the season 23-18.
