The Indianola Chamber of Commerce is warning the community about business fraud occurring in the area.

An Indianola Chamber of Commerce press release stated there is a website fraudulently representing themselves as a business operating in the Indianola area under the name Prime Tractors Dealers. Reports have emerged of individuals being scammed by this website while attempting to purchase farm equipment from this company. It has been confirmed this business is not in operation in the area and there is an open investigation.

It’s essential to remain vigilant against scams, especially those targeting farmers and agricultural workers. Unfortunately, there are various fraudulent businesses that exploit the trust of our local farmers, often presenting themselves as legitimate suppliers and scamming consumers out of tens of thousands of dollars.
