The Pleasantville volleyball team will travel to Pella Christian on Monday for the Class 2A Region 8 semifinals. 

The Trojans are coming off a 3-2 win over ACGC on the road Wednesday night in the regional quarterfinals. The 24-11 Trojans will now look to keep their season alive against a 23-11 Eagles squad who defeated Earlham 3-0 in their quarterfinals contest. The Eagles average 9.9 kills per set compared with 7.7 for Pleasantville. The Trojans do have the edge when it comes to serving as they carry a 91.5% serve efficiency percentage while the Eagles are 89.7%. Faith Nelson leads Pleasantville with 199 kills while Hope DeMan has 164. The Eagles have five players with over 100 kills this season. 

Monday’s match at Pella Christian High School will start at 7:00 pm.
