Indianola Parks and Rec held their annual Costume Party on the Square Saturday on the downtown Indianola square, inviting children, families, and dogs for a day of trick or treating with local businesses, organizations, and volunteer groups. Afton Bradley with Indianola Parks and Rec tells KNIA News the costume contests were judged for being creative or scary, with different age groups and dogs being judged separately, in addition other activities were going on around the square, including games, mini-golf, inflatables, and more. The KNIA Lil’ Big Red Radio was on location playing Halloween music, giving away candy, and making announcements.
