Living Windows presented by THRIVE Knoxville and the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce will take place November 21st in downtown Knoxville.
The Living Windows theme for this year is “A Sitcom Christmas: Bringing Laughter Home for the Holidays” and it will be held on Thursday, November 21st from 5:00-8:00pm in downtown Knoxville. The event will include a ceremonial tree lighting, Santa and Mrs. Claus, a snowball drop, carriage rides, and more. Knoxville Chamber of Commerce Executive Director and Living Windows Committee Member Nathan Sage encourages the community to come out to this event.
“This is an event where you are going to be a part of the community. The streets are going to be filled. You’re going to see everybody you haven’t seen for a long time if you haven’t got out to enjoy anything. This is a chance to just check out the shops. Stop into Wells Fargo to listen to the high school kids singing Christmas carols. Walk around, and take a ride on the horse carriage rides. Go check out the wreaths in the dental office again to vote on what wreath you think is the best. It’s all Christmas. It’s all fun. There is not really anything bad to it. It’s just a fun traditional type Christmas event.”
KNIA/KRLS will provide more details about Living Windows when they become available.
