The Knoxville Community School District is seeing a slight increase in enrollment.

At the school board meeting Monday night, the board heard an update on official certified enrollment for 2024. Actual enrollment for Knoxville Schools is 1,719 students which is up two students from last year. In terms of served enrollment, the district is up roughly ten students and there are 86 students that are open enrolled into Knoxville Schools. Superintendent Cassi Pearson says she is pleased that the district enrollment is increasing.

“We are excited to be up on both of our fronts. We aren’t up much, but we are increased and that is a big deal across the state. There are many school districts who continue to have declining enrollment and for this year we are not on that list so I’m excited about that.”
