The Pella City Council has a full agenda on the docket for an election night meeting this evening.
The council will hold three public hearings — two of which involve expansion of the Prairie Ridge development, and the other for airport access road bids. Resolutions also include an engineering services contract for the Southside Beautification Project, and for an elected official code of civility policy.
The second reading of ordinances will be held for changes at 210 and 212 West First Street and 818 Huber Street.
During policy and planning, the council will discuss a potential dispatch services partnership with Oskaloosa and upgrades to the public safety radio system, as well as an economic development assistance request for Red Rock Chiropractic, UTV operation on city streets and highways, new building and electric codes, and a series of updates from City Administrator Mike Nardini, which includes:
• 28E Agreement for the Regional Airport
• General Fund update
• Ambulance service update
Tonight’s Pella City Council meeting begins at 6:00 in the Pella Public Safety Complex, and can also be heard online.
