It was a different make up of the Knoxville Volleyball Squad. The Panthers had lost two of their best players to graduation and many girls had to step into different roles and play different positions. Hitting errors were an issue early, but the coaching staff knew things would come around. Head Coach Mollie Keitges tells KNIA/KRLS Sports as the season went on, the hitting errors were less and the girls played cleaner.
Keitges: “As the season went on we played more clean and more efficient. Our progress was really, really good and steadily made the climbs the whole season.”
Knoxville finished the season at 23-17 and was runner-up in the South Central Conference.
