Marion County Auditor Jake Grandia said it was a successful election for his office.

“Election Day went really well. It was a huge turnout. We almost hit 80%. I just appreciate everyone’s patience at the polls. The courthouse has been very busy with in person absentee. Everybody worked together. I can’t thank the poll workers enough. What a huge day for them. I’m just glad everyone took the opportunity to participate. It’s been a big month. We’re just glad we could get to this point.”
