The start of the winter sports season is just weeks away at Norwalk Community High School. The Warriors will compete in girls and boys wrestling, basketball and bowling once again this winter, with boys swimmers competing for Des Moines Lincoln.

Girls wrestling practices began this week while girls basketball and girls and boys bowling will start practices on Monday, November 11. Practices for boys wrestling and boys basketball begin on Monday, November 18.

The Norwalk girls wrestling team will travel to Carlisle for a scrimmage on November 16 and open the season at the Urbandale Invite on November 23. The Warrior girls basketball team hosts Urbandale in their season opener on November 22. The boys basketball team will host a scrimmage against Des Moines Christian on November 25 and open the season at Ballard on December 3. The girls and boys bowling teams open the season November 25 against Knoxville at Air Lanes Bowling Center. The boys wrestling team starts the season with a home dual vs. Dallas Center-Grimes on December 5.
