The Christmas season is coming up and with it returns the Pella Opera House’s Festival of Trees.
The Festival of Trees will run from November 23rd through December 7th, and the Pella Opera House will be open from 10am-4pm Monday through Saturday during the event. The Opera House will also have extended hours from 10am-8pm on November 25th and December 1st and 2nd. Executive Director Cyndi Atkins encourages families to come enjoy the Festival of Trees while supporting the youth programs at the Opera House.
“There is no admission to come in and look at these beautiful trees. And a new tradition that was started back in 2020, is a scavenger hunt for kids. We now have kids showing up on the first and second days looking for our scavenger hunt to look all through these beautiful trees and find different things. We encourage you to bring your families in. It is free to come in and look around, but people can bid on the trees and the auction closes on December 7th, so you would still get your item early enough to take it home and have it to decorate for Christmas this year.”
