Voter turnout was down in Warren County compared to the 2020 general election, with 31,241 votes cast for an 80.75% voter turnout rate, compared to 84.95% in 2020.
Warren County saw an additional 1,803 votes cast in 2024, however there was an increase of 4,147 registered voters from four years ago, leading to the lower participation rate.
President Donald Trump earned 17,782 votes in 2020 compared to 12,574 for President Joe Biden, while President Trump earned 19,459 in 2024 compared to 12,662 for Vice President Kamala Harris.
Turnout was lower in the state legislative races, with State Representative Brooke Boden winning in House District 21 with 6,499 votes compared to 9,784 in 2020, however a redistricting for Iowa Legislature races has since taken place.
Voting for county offices was also lower, which featured three uncontested races for Sheriff, Auditor, and Treasurer. The newly expanded Warren County Board of Supervisors saw 30,989 votes cast in total over 10 candidates and write-ins, meaning over 2,000 voters participated in the general election but elected to not cast a vote in the designated Warren County Supervisor race.
