The Knoxville Volleyball Squad had to say goodbye to three seniors this season. Hannah Dunkin, Rylyn McCarty and Payton Horn played their final match with the Panthers. For Dunkin and McCarty they were recently named Academic All-State. Coach Mollie Keitges tells KNIA/KRLS Sports all three were very important to the program.

Keitges: “Hannah her freshman year we just had her setting with Brittany and she was just great what we needed with her. Rylyn had a lot of questions and seeing her do interviews with the media with confidence and taking over matches at times. I was a little heartbroken for Payton, her season didn’t go as she wanted with that severe ankle injury at the start of the season, but she was such a great teammate.”

Keitges adds all three came in as freshman on the backside of the South Central Conference four-peat but made their own legacy as they grew within the program.
