The Indianola volleyball team made their third straight trip to the state tournament this past year, and will say goodbye to a standout senior class, many of which have been playing varsity since their sophomore seasons.
The Indians will lose outside hitter Camryn Overton, middle hitters Dana Blake and Makenzie Sloan, setters Aspen Nelson and Josie McGraw, defensive specialists Sully Downey and Zoey Belt, and libero Maci Lerseth. Head coach Kent Halstead tells KNIA Sports this senior class has done everything he has asked of them and more, and they have left the program in a better place than when they arrived, which is all he can ask of his athletes.
Indianola will bring back varsity athletes Madi Grover and Lauren Olson who saw significant varsity time.
