A total of 15 Norwalk players have been recognized on the Class 4A, All-District 6 football teams for 2024.
The Warriors’ nine first-team selections include sophomore tight end Luke Brewer, junior receiver Eli Robbins and senior offensive linemen Carter Eden and Harrison Tripp. Tripp was also named the first-team punter. First-team defensive selections for Norwalk were senior linemen Tyler Stanford and Kolton Borcherding-Johnson, junior linebacker Hayden Demaray, senior defensive back Kadan Borcherding-Johnson and junior defensive back Brady Wilkening.
The Warriors had five players named to the All-District Second Team in senior running back Dominic Tigner, senior receivers Brady Schmitz and Tim Koerselman, senior kicker Tavin Ferner and sophomore linebacker Victor Esparza. Junior kicker Tyden Eng received honorable mention.
Norwalk was this year’s Class 4A, District 6 champion with a 5-0 record. The Warriors qualified for the 4A playoffs and finished 6-4 overall.
