While the graduation of eight seniors last spring means many things will change for the Pella Christian boys basketball team this year, the schedule remains almost identical.

The Eagles will open the season at home in the back half of a doubleheader against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont on Tuesday, December 3rd. Pella Christian’s second non-conference game will be at home against PCM on Monday, December 9th. The Eagles non-conference slate features two new opponents this season, as Fairfield (Jan. 21st) and Centerville (Jan. 27th) replaced Wilton and Pekin on the schedule. Other non-conference games for Pella Christian include Des Moines Christian (Dec. 16th), Grand View Christian (Dec. 19th), West Branch (Jan. 3rd), Knoxville (Jan. 13th), and Van Meter (Jan. 30th).

In Little Hawkeye Conference play, the Eagles will open up at Oskaloosa on December 6th, before hosting Norwalk on December 13th. Pella Christian’s third conference matchup will come after Christmas break, as they travel to Newton on January 7th. The first round of the Tulip City Showdown against Pella will be on Eagle Lane January 10th, with the second edition of the rivalry matchup at Pella High School taking place on February 7th. Other notable conference games for the Eagles include their homecoming game against Oskaloosa on January 24th, and the regular season finale at home against Indianola on February 13th.
