The Simpson football team has a chance to end their season with a .500 record as they host the Norse of Luther College at Buxton Stadium today. The Storm are undefeated at home this season, and will try to maintain that record against a 1-8 Norse team that is winless in American Rivers Conference play. Simpson quarterback J Jensen III is nearing a record milestone, sitting tied for the all-time lead in passing touchdowns with 74. Head coach Reed Hoskins tells KNIA Sports the Norse play an unconventional brand of football, and if Simpson isn’t mentally ready to pay attention in all facets of the game they will get punished on the scoreboard because of it.
