The Knoxville City Council heard an update on the work to date regarding the city’s comprehensive plan Monday night.

City Economic Development Director Glenn Lyons and two employees from MSA Planning and Design Studio talked about responses and feedback they have gotten back from the community survey and the open house that took place in September. They stated that they are still looking for more feedback and the survey is still open. The council also approved a site plan for a Huegerich Development apartment building in the Veterans District, various policies in conjunction with the Community Development Block Grant Downtown Revitalization Grant, and a change order for the Water Reclamation UV Disinfectant Project.
