Norwalk freshman volleyball player Elle Hatlevig was named Third Team All-State in Class 4A on Monday by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association. The six-foot outside hitter was also recognized on the IGCA’s Class 4A Central All-District Team.

Hatlevig posted a team-high 403 kills for the Warriors this fall and had a kill efficiency of .219 in 1,048 attacks. Hatlevig was second on the team with 54 ace serves and also totaled 160 digs and 25 blocks.

Norwalk finished the season with a 28-14 overall record and placed third in the Little Hawkeye Conference at 4-2, trailing Class 5A state qualifier Indianola and 4A state runner-up Pella. The Warriors reached the 4A regional final round for the fourth consecutive year.
