Helping Hands Food Pantry in Knoxville will be fully embracing the Living Windows theme of “A Sitcom Christmas” Thursday as they seek holiday food donations.
Legendary radio newsman Les Nessman of “WKRP in Cincinnati” will do a live remote broadcast at Helping Hands in Knoxville on Thursday night. It’s part of the “Sitcom Christmas” celebration for Living Windows. Stop by Helping Hands, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm to see if turkeys can fly. Or better yet, drop by with a turkey, a can of soup or other donation for Helping Hands; Thanksgiving food baskets.
“This is Les Nessman! We hope your holiday generosity will light up the sky, and hopefully the sky won’t be filled with turkeys, plummeting to their deaths”
Speaking of soup, Nessman will be joined by the Soup Elf, the nicer cousin of a naughty character from the show “Seinfeld”, who’ll share hot soup for all.
“Soup for you!”
Helping Hands is located at 110 West Main St. in Knoxville.
