The Norwalk girls wrestling program begins its third season of competition on Saturday when the Warriors take part in the Urbandale Invitational at 9:00 a.m. The team’s first home meet will be Monday at 5:00 p.m.

The Norwalk girls are once again under the direction of third-year head coach Alanah Vetterick. The Warriors open the season with a roster of 10 wrestlers. Returning letter winners include sophomores Madison Froehle, Margaret Evans and Hannah Smith, along with juniors Madelyn Carroll and Katie Liedtke. Froehle was the team’s win leader last season while Liedtke led the Warriors in pins.
