The Indianola girls basketball team begins their season on Monday at Urbandale, and with that matchup begins a tough schedule for the Indians in 2024-25.
Indianola will match up with the J-Hawks, in addition to Waukee, Ames, and North Polk in non-conference action in the first several weeks of the season, then as they progress through Little Hawkeye Conference action will see a state championship contender Norwalk squad in addition to Dallas Center-Grimes, Pella, and more.
Head coach Jeff Janssen tells KNIA Sports despite the tough schedule, they won’t be intimidated by any team as they have many returning athletes who know what needs to be done in order to win.
Indianola will play eight games through early December.
