The PCM girls basketball team will open their season tonight at Chariton.
This will be the first action of the season for both teams and the Mustangs fell to the Chargers in the first game of the season last year 44-38. Last year the Mustangs finished the season with a 15-7 overall record and only graduated one senior in Elle Davis. This year, PCM will look to put together another strong season anchored by a roster that looks almost identical from last year. PCM will return all five starters. However, junior Jorja Teeter will not be able to play most of the season due to a recent surgery. The Mustangs will look to continue getting impressive production from senior Addison Steenhoek, junior Tori Lindsay and sophomore Lila Milani who all were significant contributors last season.
PCM and Chariton are 4-4 all time against each other in the Bound era.
