Indianola High School students competing at the annual Thespy Awards earlier this week. Students Kelci Petersen, Ellen Brodie, Ella Jack, Reese Lucas, Maggie Overton, Maggie Sides, and Eveah Money competed in categories including Musical Solo, Musical Duet, Acting Monologue, and Playwriting. The Thespy Awards take place at the Iowa Thespian Festival, which is a part of the International Thespian Excellence Awards, sponsored by the Educational Theatre Association. The International Thespian Excellence Awards is an educational program that offers Thespians the opportunity to receive constructive feedback on prepared theatrical material and technical designs.
