Former Knoxville Volleyball Standout Ella Breazeale recently finished her freshman season at Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina. The Crusaders finished with a 7-21 record and fell in the 1st round of the Conference Carolinas Tournament to Shorter. Breazeale was playing behind a few seniors this season so she did see the court in competition a lot but enjoyed her first season as a college athlete. Breazeale tells KNIA/KRLS Sports she already has noted a few areas that need improvement before next season begins.

Breazeale: “Taking into account the difficulties of being a student/athlete and being fully present when I’m in the gym, and talking to my setters and holding them and myself accountable. That’s what I’ll have to take into the spring and the 2025 season.”
