The Newton School Board meets in regular session tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the EJH Beard Administration Center on First Avenue West. It’s the annual reorganizational meeting, where board members choose who will be School Board President for the next year. Current President Robyn Friedman has served two straight years. The six other Newton School Board members are Vice-President Josh Cantu, Donna Cook, Kristi Meyer, Cody Muhs, Travis Padget, and Ray Whipple.

Also on tonight’s agenda will be a report from Human Resources Director Laura Selover, and an update on the two elementary school construction projects from Superintendent Tom Messenger .
