An early blast of winter chill is set to impact the region later this week. According to the National Weather Service, a turn for much colder air begins by Thanksgiving morning. Daytime temperatures will drop most commonly into the 20s and overnight lows into the teens — and possible single digits. Wind chill values will dip toward zero on some mornings as well. The below-average cold is expected to last well into the first week of December. Little to no precipitation is expected during that time frame, however.
