The Melcher-Dallas Girls Basketball Squad enters this season with a lot of expectations and the 1st game of the season is tonight as the Saints will play Wayne. Much is back for the Saints this season including leading scorer from last year Addie Wadle and now for Coach Kelsey Goff, a deeper bench. One thing the Saints have worked on in preseason is their shooting, which was a struggle in some games last year. Goff expects the shooting to be better this season and hopes it does not fall on one player.

Goff : “I think it should be good all around this year. Someone different could step up with their shooting this season and that’s an exciting part of it.”

Wayne leads the series according to Bound 12-6, however Melcher-Dallas stopped a nine game losing streak in the series last year. Wayne is mostly a younger team this season that went 13-11 last year. Tip off is set for 7:30.
