Many County and City Offices will be closed Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29  for the Thanksgiving Holiday. This includes all Jasper County Offices and Newton City buildings and offices.

The Newton Sanitary Landfill is only closed Thursday. The Newton Public Library is closed today Wednesday, November 27 through Saturday, November 30th. TheNewton YMCA will be closed Thursday, but will be open normal hours on Friday.
