The Marion County Board of Supervisors discussed the EMS Advisory Council on Tuesday.
At the last board meeting, a list of names was presented as to who could make up this council, and no action was taken. At Tuesday’s meeting, Marion County Emergency Management Coordinator Jeff Anderson asked that a representative from Pella Regional be added to the list and Supervisor Steve McCombs asked that he not be a voting member, as it could be a conflict of interest. Marion County Attorney Jared Harmon will now draft a formal resolution for this council to be presented at a future meeting.
Also at the meeting, the board approved an extension agreement between the City of Pella, Marion County, and the Pella Community School District regarding the Prairie Ridge West Urban Renewal Area, road vacations for multiple segments in Otley after a public hearing was held, and an appointment of Merlan Rolffs to the City of Pella Board of Adjustment. No action taken by the board regarding an engine break ordinance.
