A mural that brought together several community members and others far away has been recently completed on the east wall of the Pella Community Center.

Community Services Director Jeanette Vaughan says the art project was done to brighten up the alley between the building and the Pella Public Library, while also serving as a fundraiser for the Friends of the Pella Community Center’s Heart of Pella campaign. The individual panels were painted by donors themselves or by students and instructors from the Pella Community Art Center.
