Pella Christian senior girls basketball player Faith Kacmarynski has been named one of the 20 candidates to be voted on in Sports Illustrated’s poll for the Iowa Class 2A Preseason Player of the Year. 

Faith has been a key player for the Eagles over her four year career on Eagle Lane. During her first three seasons, Kacmarynski recorded 565 points, 342 rebounds, 215 assists, and 141 steals. Faith entered her senior year coming off arguably her best season to date, posting 229 points, 109 assists, 104 rebounds, and 53 steals. Through two games as a senior, Kacmaynski has recorded 24 points, eight rebounds and has 13 assists to just one turnover. The Sports Illustrated poll seeks fan input to highlight and support athletes from their favorite schools, while also highlighting the abilities and accomplishments of those athletes.
