After being dormant for a season, the Twin Cedars Girls Basketball Squad is in total rebuild mode. While the ultimate goal is to win games Coach Jake DeGeest tells KNIA/KRLS Sports there is a different goal for this team on a daily basis. He says if his girls can improve just a little daily, all of the goals will be met this season.

DeGeest: “We talk about being one percent better than the previous day. Did I add a move to my offense, or did I better understand that defensive play, yes we want to win, but getting better is what we’re focused on.”

DeGeest knows they will take their lumps this season…but he tells the girls not to get frustrated and to keep improving on their individual games.
