As the cold temperatures and possible snow of winter nears, Warren County Emergency Management wants to remind residents of the importance of preparing in the case of a snowstorm.

Warren County Emergency Management Coordinator Miranda Chadwick tells KNIA News one thing people may forget about is making sure you have an ample supply of medication in the event of difficult travel conditions, and to make sure you don’t run too low before picking up a new supply if possible.

Chadwick also said if anyone has any questions on how to prepare for an emergency, they should contact their local emergency management office.
