The PCM girls basketball team defeated West Marshall on the road Tuesday night while the boys team came up short and the wrestling team opened their season at home.

The Mustang girls defeated the Trojans 56-44 to open conference play and stay unbeaten. PCM was led in scoring by Tori Lindsay and Libby Winters who both had 17 points. The PCM girls move to 3-0 on the season and will be back in action on Thursday at Pella Christian. 

The Mustang boys fell to the Trojans 56-44 in their first action of the season. PCM was led in scoring by Cutler Vandelune who had 12 points and Chase Wagaman who had 9. The Mustang boys fall to 0-1 to start the season and will next compete on Friday against Saydel.

The PCM boys wrestling team opened their season by hosting a quad. The Mustangs defeated Greene County 42-33 and Van Meter 42-36 while a score against Ogden was not available. The boys wrestling team will next compete on Saturday at Independence.
